Our Acknowledgement of Country
We pay our respects to the First Nations People of Australia and the Torre Strait, and acknowledge the Bunurong people of the Kulin nation as the traditional owners and custodians of the land Millowl (Phillip Island) on which Genesta House resides, their elders past and present, as well as to emerging leaders.
We appreciate the regenerative impact that the Bunurong people have had on our land and waters over many, many generations and the lessons that we can learn from their knowledge and experience hunting on Millowl.

October, 2019.Cozy, comfortable room, heritage character, nice to come back to after a day out and about. Suitable breakfast, tea and coffee supplies. Only issue with facilities was the shower head which fell down a few times when showering. Only issues with staff was, between nights (we stayed two), the breakfast dishes were not washed, but for some reason our belongings were collected and re-packed into our suitcases which we thought was a bit strange and unnecessary.Expedia reviewer15. April, 2019.Bathroom way too small, no storage, really unsatisfactoryWotif reviewer7. January, 2019.Lovely old house with lovely gardens in a good location. Good for o night stop. For us showing it’s age pretty well and probably in need of a good tidy up. They always look cute in photos but starting to question the relevance of these old places in today’s market. Certainly wouldn’t appeal to the younger generations.
