Arrival is from 2pm – 6pm. There is onsite reception. We live onsite, so can provide assistance during your stay if required.  

Yes, depending on outgoing guests on the day of your arrival, an early check-in may be possible.

Late check-in is also available upon request.

Free parking is available on the street directly outside the property. There is access to an  Electric Car Station within an easy 5 minute walk to Genesta House.

Departure is by 10am. Late departure can be requested and is subject to availability. Please contact us prior to your arrival to arrange this, or simply add this extra when making you online booking.

Laundry washing facilities, including an iron and ironing board are available by arrangement with Management. 

Yes, each of the suites are connected to the NBN (National Broadband Network). Telstra is the service provider with unlimited free Wi-fi.

Just your personal items.  All linen and towels are supplied as well as luxury toiletries. Generous breakfast provisions are provided in your suite for you to prepare at your own leisure.

No, there is no restaurant onsite. Genesta House is conveniently located within metres of many restaurants and cafes. The suites have simple kitchenettes for preparing light snacks and breakfast.

Yes! We are centrally located in Cowes, just a short drive to both the Phillip Island Winery and Purple Hen Winery.

Yes indeed. Cowes Main Beach and the magnificent Silverleaves Beach are a short 100m walk from Genesta House. Thompson Avenue is the main street of Cowes, and is only a short 5 minute walk (3 street blocks) from Genesta House, along the picturesque beachside esplanade.

The easiest way to get to Phillip Island is by private car. There are also V-Line buses available from Melbourne. The bus stop is a short 5 minute walk from the house.

Getting around Phillip Island is also easiest by car. There are local transport buses which are limited to main roads only. There are also limited private drivers and taxi’s available.

The main difference is in the furnishings and colour palette. Each suite has it’s own seperate entrance and verandah area – there is no sharing of any facilities.

The suites have queen beds, seperate ensuite, kitchenettes & dining area.

The Fernery is slightly larger in size, and for this reason, we would recommend this for a longer stay.

The Maple Suite is romantic with vintage wallpaper.

The Lilly Pilly Suite has a pared back sense of glamour.

No unfortunatley, our accommodation cannot house pets of any kind.
